Vyond for Government - Recommended Secure Configuration

1. SCG-CSO-RSC Recommended Secure Configuration
   • Please use a browser and connect to https://app.vyond-fedramp.com/ to access the V4G service.
   • The account format for V4G is the same as the email address format, which is [username]@[domain name].
   • To manage the account and seat, please refer to this article:  How do I deactivate, suspend, or add new seats and users in Vyond Professional?
   • To manage the account of the customer administrator, which is the top-level administrative account of V4G, please contact support@vyond-fedramp.com to make the change.
   • To set security settings in Vyond, you must be the account owner or an administrator.
   • Here is the procedure to access the security settings:
     • Log in to your Vyond account using your credentials.
     • Click on your user icon or name in the upper-right corner.
     • Select Security from the dropdown menu to access administrative security configurations.
2. SCG-CSO-AUP Use Instructions
   The use instructions of this document is provided in the section “System Information” of the System Security Plan (SSP) from the update of March, 2026.
3. SCG-CSO-PUB Public Guidance
   The guidance of the security configuration and the default value is posted on the help center and can be accessed via the browser.

4. SCG-CSO-SDF Secure Defaults
   The security settings allow the account owner to change:
    

   Setting	Description	Default Value
   User Guideline Alerts	This is the guideline alert for AI features, V4G currently does not support AI features, this setting can be omitted.	N/A
   Account Inactivity	Control how long before inactive users are automatically logged out	1 Day
   Cache	Control how often the video cache is cleared. A higher frequency may slow down video previews	Monthly
   Password on Shared Folders and Videos	Set the expiry policy on password-protected shared folders and videos	90 Days

   The security settings need to contact support@vyond-fedramp.com to make any changes:

   Setting	Description	Default Value
   Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration	Federate V4G account with the external identity management system (e.g., Windows AD, Google) via SAML 2.0	This setting must be enabled
   Data Partitioning	Secure the data in its owned database to prevent from being commingled with others	This setting must be enabled

Enhanced Capabilities 

1. SCG-ENH-CMP Comparison Capability
   V4G offers limited security settings thus currently does not provide the comparison function between default and current settings.
2. SCG-ENH-EXP Export Capability
   V4G offers limited security settings thus currently does not provide the export function.
3. SCG-ENH-API API Capability
   V4G does not provide API, any operation must be via the application.
4. SCG-ENH-MRG Machine-Readable Guidance
   The guidance of the security configuration and the default value is posted on the help center and can be accessed via the browser.
